Is Ann Coulter a Voting Anchor Baby?

ann coulterAnn Coulter has spent much of the past few months arguing "anchor babies" don't deserve citizenship in America just based on the location of their birth. Apparently the right wing pundit doesn't pay much attention to location herself.

For the second time in four years, Coulter is under investigation for voter fraud. And this time the case is going to court.

Seems Coulter might have said Connecticut, Shmonnecticut back in 2002 and 2004, sending in absentee ballots to the Constitution State from her home in New York. Her HOME in New York, which would make voting in another state illegal -- because she was not a resident.

BradBlog, which has been following the case since its inception, reported this week Coulter's case is finally coming up for a vote at a public hearing before Connecticut's State Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) on next Thursday, October 14, in Hartford, Connecticut.

She's been there, done that before. Coulter was cleared of voter fraud in a 2006 case in which she had supposedly voted in the wrong precinct in a Florida town election. BradBlog claims she wasn't cleared so much as squeaked out because the statue of limitations on her wrongful voter registration had expired (she'd actually registered in 2005, and registering falsely is the actual crime).

This time there is no statute of limitations, and the charges levied by conservative and avid Coulter hater Daniel Borchers will see the light of day.

But wait, this is the woman who is highly concerned about people who "run across the border when you're 8 1/2 months pregnant, give birth in a U.S. hospital, and then immediately start collecting welfare."

Shouldn't she know a little bit about legal boundaries? And what happens when you cross them?

The lawyer speaks about them enough. And her favorite network certainly does. Bill O'Reilly, a frequent Coulter defender, was alleging just Tuesday night on his show that Democrats will commit massive voter fraud this November.

Or maybe Coulter's just a voting anchor baby -- she's picked a location, and she's going to take advantage of all the rights and privileges legal residents are afforded.
