A Boy Was Asked What His Mom's Job Is & His Inappropriate Answer Is Cracking People Up

Everyone knows that kids say the darnedest things, but sometimes it's still mind-blowing what comes out of their mouths. From their harsh observations to their often warped recollections, sometimes it can feel like they're just trolling their parents. One mom was feeling this way when her kid shared his parents' occupations and got his dad's correct, but more than missed the mark with hers.

  • When asked at school what his mom does for work, this kid announced, "Gets her boobs out."

Nope, that's not even close to her job description. The anonymous mom shared on Mumsnet that although her boy apparently thinks her day revolves around whipping her boobs out, he had no difficulty explaining to the class that his "dad works in an office and helps people." Yet, she also works in that office helping people -- and her child has been there several times -- but according to him, only Daddy works and Mommy's days are about her boobs.

Needless to say, this mom was mortified when the teacher told her about the conversation in class. She shared the cringeworthy (but also hysterical) story in hopes of not only getting advice on how to live it down, but also learning if other kids have embarrassed their parents like this.

  • Moms were happy to share stories of kids lying, like this girl who claimed that Dad let her drink beer for her birthday.

  • There was also this kiddo who gave a stranger a serious paternity scare.

  • Or this girl who announced on the radio what Mommy does when Dad leaves to play golf.

  • Parents also shared when kids only got part of the story right.

  • Like this boy who wrote a paper for school about his family's love of condoms.

  • And then there are the parents who had to recover from their kids calling it exactly like they saw it.

  • Like this girl who wanted to know about a stranger's back boobs.

  • And there are the times when it feels like your kid is purposefully trying to sabotage you, like this boy with his mom's vibrator.

  • So no matter what kids say or do, parents quickly learn to take it with a grain of salt.

And hopefully teachers will too without holding it against you!
