Domino's Launched a Baby Registry & It's Either the Best or Weirdest Idea Ever

Domino's Baby Registry

Where you choose to register for your baby is a pretty big deal. Whether it's Target, Kids 'R' Us, or Amazon, picking the perfect place -- or places, if you're so inclined -- totally determines what kind of goodies you get for you and your baby. While large retailers have been jumping on the baby registry train since forever, it seemed ridiculous to think that restaurants would follow suit -- until now. Domino's just launched a new baby registry that's going to make you both hungry and happy.

  • Obviously, newborns aren't huge fans of pizza, but Domino's is well aware of how many of its mom and dad customers depend on it.

"There’s nothing more exciting -- and exhausting -- than welcoming a new member to the family," Meenakshi Nagarajan, the company's director of digital marketing, told USA Today. "From baby showers to the big delivery, our baby registry makes it easy to enjoy pizza during the exciting events leading up to the baby's arrival and thereafter."

  • When we first heard about the registry, we were super confused, but then we saw the product list and ... wow.

It's obvious that Domino's didn't come to mess around.

  • We're talking pizza onesies, matching T-shirts for mom and baby, even pizza pajama pants for older kids.

It has pretty much everything you need during those first few weeks, and it's all covered in pizza.

  • You probably didn't know your baby needed a cocoon blanket shaped like a pizza slice, but you do now.

    You're welcome.

  • There are even clever mugs and slightly ridiculous but adorable pizza baby rattles.

It might be enough to transform your baby shower from some stuffy affair into a full-blown pizza party.

  • Of course, it's Domino's, so it didn't forget to include some edible pizza gifts among the other stuff.

For prices that range from $20–$30, you can put "pizza packs" on your registry that are essentially Domino's gift cards. There's a "Hormonal and Hangry" gift card pack for those crazy pregnancy cravings and a "Sleeping Through the Night" pack for post-pregnancy dinners when you're too tired to even consider cooking.
