If you have a little one at home, you need to see this disgusting yet effective experiment because it will guarantee that your kids never "forget" to wash their hands again. To show your children the importance of handwashing in a way that will stick with them for life, all you need is three pieces of bread and three sandwich bags. Teacher Donna Allen shared this clever idea and the cringeworthy results on Facebook and it quickly went viral as both teachers and parents took note.

Donna explained that she did this experiment with her students while teaching them about germs and how they spread. This DIY lesson is easy to do at home too, and requires little effort.

"Last but definitely not least, you pass a piece of bread around and let every kid in class touch it, then you put it in a baggy and label it dirty."
