Time to check your baby's playroom, Kids II is recalling the Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper because of some horrific injuries that have been reported due to one of the toy attachments on the activity jumper, which can rebound with force and injure a baby. In fact, the company has received 100 reports of incidents involving the jumper, including 61 injuries. These reportedly included bruises, lacerations to the face, a 7-month-old boy who was given a skull fracture, and an adult who chipped a tooth!

The recall includes all models that contain the number 90564. The number can be found on a tag attached to the underside of the seat where the baby sits and plays with the toys surrounding him.

The yellow sun, which is reportedly the source of the injuries, is attached to the flexible stalk on the jumper's side, which has either three or five brightly colored rings on it.

A date code can be found on the label on the back of the seat, which is covered by blue fabric. Codes included in the recall were made before November 2011 and are:

OD0, OE0, OF0, OG0, OH0, OI0, OJ0, OK0, OL0, OA1, OB1, OC1, OD1, OE1, OF1, OG1, OH1, OI1, OJ1, and OK1.

The jumper was sold at Target, ToysRUs, and Amazon as well as other stores.

If you've got this product, you should immediately stop using it and call Kids II at (877) 325-7056 for a new replacement attach toy. You can also get more information at the Consumer Product Safety Commission website.

Unfortunately, this sun toy didn't turn out to be so sunny. At least it will be an easy toy to check to see if you have.

Do you have this toy?
