'They Can Stare at Both of Us:' Dad's Tattoo Matches Son's Cancer Scar

dad gets matching tattooMany parents would do anything for their kids, but one dad went to the extreme to help boost his son's confidence. Josh Marshall got a lengthy tattoo that mimics his son's cancer scar in a show of solidarity that will melt you heart.


As if it weren't enough that 8-year-old Gabriel Marshall is battling brain cancer, the little guy found himself the recipient of unwanted stares as a result of his scar.

The Kansas dad got the tattoo last August and told ABC News:

I said, 'You know what, I'll get your scar tattooed. That way, if people want to stare at you, then they can stare at both of us.'

Amazing! The reason we're just learning about the Marshalls' unique bond is that Josh recently won the St. Baldrick's Foundation's title of #BestBaldDad in its Father's Day competition.
