GoGo SqueeZ Pouches Are Being Recalled Again: 3 Things You Need to Know

GoGo SqueeZ recall

Before you rush to the pantry to grab your kid a snack, you might want to take a look at this. GoGo squeeZ has issued a voluntary recall of some of their applesauce products, which is raising some concern. And even though they pulled their applesauce due to mold last year, this time, they promise it has nothing to do with fungus. (Well, that's good to hear.)

In the company's announcement, CEO and founder Michel Larroche states that residue from food products was found inside two product pumps in one of the factories. While it's not believed any residue got into packaged food pouches, GoGo squeeZ wants to take the necessary precautions.

Here's what parents and caregivers need to know.

1. The recall is only for non-organic products made from the GoGo squeeZ Traverse City, Michigan, facility (production at this location is currently suspended). It does not include other sites, GoGo squeeZ Organic products, or new GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ.

2. Pouches with Best Before Dates between December 4, 2015, and March, 4, 2017, are included in the recall. Here are tips on how to check the packaging:
