NBA Star Assists Fiancée in Wild Bathroom Home Birth

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert
Some home births are carefully, meticulously planned -- others are the complete opposite! Cleveland Cavalier Iman Shumpert and his fiancée, R&B star Teyana Taylor, definitely weren't expecting to welcome their daughter, Iman Taylor Shumpert Jr., at home, but that's what happened -- with a very quick-thinking and hands-on daddy standing in for the doctor!

Taylor described the incredibly exciting event on Instagram, revealing that she didn't even know she was in labor when she went to the bathroom early in the morning on December 16, but suddenly felt her daughter's head. Yikes! What would YOU do in that situation? Here's what Shumpert and Taylor did: cranked up some Dr. Dre and popped that little girl right out in just TWO pushes!

Even crazier is what Shumpert (who apparently was walked through the whole process by an emergency operator on the phone) used to tie the cord: a pair of red headphones. That's some serious MacGyver-level troubleshooting right there! And just look at how well everything turned out:

On Dec 16th at 6:42am in our bathroom Junie decided she wanted to take her first breath into this world. She came out as a wonderful surprise to everyone! Not knowing I was in labor until I felt her took two ten count pushes with my fiancé playing Dr and she entered this world into his bare hands! Eyes full of tears and barely able to speak to the emergency operator @imanshumpert tied a pair of red headphones around the umbilical cord and the ambulance made there grand entrance 5 min later. She opened her eyes right away, gazed into mine and never cried! He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is. She has blown Christmas away! Our family is complete. Her blueprint will be unmatched. Welcome Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. Mommy carried you. Daddy delivered you. #MeetTheParents we love you baby girlðð¾ðð¶ð¾

Awww! Talk about a holiday miracle. Taylor might just have to go on record as having the easiest labor EVER. Is Dr. Dre the secret? Should OB/GYNs know about this magical, musical birth aid?

And, perhaps more importantly, will Shumpert ever use those headphones again?

Congrats, you two!
