Girl Catches Singing 'Ghost' on Camera, Scares Living Daylights Out of Dad (VIDEO)

ghost videoA 4-year-old girl has allegedly taken a video that has many people's hair standing on end: It's of a singing ghost who makes the bedsheets billow and informs the girl, "You're so funny."

Well, apparently the dad, Daniel Garrett -- who claims he lives alone with his daughter -- didn't think the video was funny. At all. He posted it on YouTube with the following account:

"My 4-year-old daughter came and woke me up at 8 a.m. and I left the room to go to the bathroom and she took a video on my phone," he says. "My eyes water and my hair stands up on my arms when I watch this; it's actually the scariest thing I have ever had happen to me."

The dad says this spooky footage has convinced him to pack up and move out. He and his daughter are currently living with his parents, with no plans to move back in.

Now, if this video were real, I'd feel for this guy. But my Spidey sense is just saying this dad is pulling our leg in a garden-variety prank. Call me a cynic, but that's my take.

Here's why: If this guy were so scared about the ghost, why would he post the video on YouTube? Wouldn't any parent with his head screwed on straight send this video to the cops? Hire a "house cleaner" so he can move back in?

To me, posting such a video on YouTube means he's just looking for attention, clicks, traffic, laughs, cry for help, you name it. But it's not to alert everyone to the presence of a ghost with an oddly booming baritone voice.

Nice try, dad. But I'm not buying it.
