Mom With Sick Baby in Hospital Gets Parking Ticket & What It Says Makes Her Day (PHOTO)

parking ticketYes, yes and yes to the kind acts of strangers! A mother with a 9-week-old baby in the hospital had nothing but her child's well-being in mind. After spending a few days in the hospital, she returned to her car to find a parking ticket and a heartwarming note from a Good Samaritan.


The mystery woman only left her first name, Laura, and did a simple but unthinkable act many today might overlook. "Hi there," Laura wrote in her message. "I saw your car had a parking ticket on it, I'm sure whatever you are going through at the hospital is tough enough so I have paid it for you."

Insert smile, along with tons of happiness.

The mother was so touched by the warm gesture that she posted the ticket and note on Facebook in hopes Laura would see it.

Stories like this can really move me to tears. Call me cheesy, but I find myself overjoyed to hear people doing something nice for others. Nowadays it's too easy to break someone's spirit with a heartless comment or action. None of us truly know a battle another is enduring behind closed doors. Think of all the good that can come from a random act of kindness -- regardless of how big or small it is.

Obviously this doesn't mean you need to walk the streets and pay for parking tickets. That can get expensive. However, should you want to open your heart to helping someone in need, just know your actions can leave a lasting impression to come.
