Baby Monitor Hackers' Creepy Website Is Full of Photos Inside Our Kids' Bedrooms (VIDEO)

How creepy would it be if you were home in bed one night when you suddenly heard unfamilar music coming from your baby's room? And when you went to investigate, realized it was coming from the baby's monitor? That's what happened to a mother in Rochester, Minnesota. That music would lead her to uncover a very creepy website that is every mom's nightmare.

The mom, who prefers to remain anonymous, said when she heard the music and went to her baby's room to investigate, it suddenly shut off. But she realized it was coming from the baby monitor.

The creeped out mom told KTTC:

We were able to track down the IP address through the Foscam software, and found out that it was coming from Amsterdam.

Her baby's cam, which can be accessed via the Internet, had obviously been hacked, but she was about to discover something even more disturbing: The scene of her baby's crib, which she thought only she could see, had been posted to a website -- which contained thousands of other scenes of babies' cribs just like hers!

Not only that, the website contained scenes of people's living rooms, kitchens -- wherever they had placed a monitor.

The mom said:

There's at least fifteen different countries listed and it's not just nurseries -- it's people's living rooms, their bedrooms, their kitchens. Every place that people think is sacred and private in their home is being accessed ... You can literally just sort by whatever country suits your fancy, and whatever room suits your fancy.  It's pretty sick.

Yikes, this mom had inadvertently stumbled upon a website set up for weirdo voyeurs who enjoy watching other people -- and babies -- going on about their business.

The mom says the hacker was even able to control her monitor remotely, and switched the view from the wall to the closet. Yikes!

Well, who knows why people would get a charge out of watching other people's homes -- maybe they have something nefarious in mind, maybe they just get off on it. Who knows, but no one wants it happening to them.

The most effective way to stop this from happening to you is to change the password that comes with the monitor and also your WiFi password -- and change it to something difficult.
