Disturbing 'Frozen' App Is Anything But Kid-Friendly

If your kids love all things Frozen, join the club! Only if you've also given the green light to letting them download Frozen apps on your smartphone or tablet, beware: just because it says Frozen (or something else kid-friendly) does not mean it's kosher for kids.

As proof, look no further than Frozen Games, which is hawking an unauthorized app where kids can help "Anna give birth a baby." For starters, that grammar is the pits... but what about the game itself?

Well, the deeper into the game kids go, the more disturbing it gets. For starters, kids put Anna under general anesthesia. Then it's C-section time! Kids whip out a glowing orb, then a purple glitter scalpel, which they then drag across Anna's bikini line. Once kids have cut open Anna like a Thanksgiving turkey, they pull out the baby, which they then swaddle and hand over to the prince. After that, Anna wakes up, happy and chipper as ever, to join her new family.

Where do we start with all that's deranged about this app? Unless your kid wants to be an OB/GYN one day, we don't know many Frozen-ophiles who want to slice Anna open. In fact, that might seriously mess them up!

Moral of the story: parents, please be a bit more careful about what you let your kiddos download and play. Just because there are cute cartoons -- or the names of popular kiddie movies -- on the app does not mean they're actually kid-friendly. There are plenty of app makers just like this one, hoping to make a buck off of unsuspecting parents who don't investigate before they download. So be careful next time kids say, "can I download this?"

Otherwise, they might see something really regrettable. What's next, an Olaf dismemberment app?

What's the weirdest thing your kids have downloaded?
