6-Year-Old's Method of Coping With Stress Can Teach Us All a Lesson

girl's feetStress is something we all have to deal with, no matter what our age, although some of us are clearly more capable of handling it than others.

And since kids are so resilient, they're often able to cope with it better, or at least one 6-year-old little girl knows how. The younger sister of Ltravis, a Reddit user, found what appears to be a little booklet entitled, "Positive Ways Our Family Handles Stress" in the waiting room of a doctor's office.

Her response to it is honestly one of the most hilarious things you'll ever see.


She simply wrote, "Suck it up" on one of the lines under "Positive Ways Our Family Handles Stress."

Yep -- SUCK IT UP.

OMG. Are you rolling on the floor laughing yet?

And while her response is definitely comical, you have to admit -- it makes a whole lot of sense too.

I mean, when the going gets tough, like really, really tough -- what else can you do but suck it up and deal with it, right?

And don't even try and over-analyze her response and say it isn't healthy or something ridiculous like that. What she wrote is totally funny. (Suck it up and admit it, already. It's ok.)

The fact that this small bit of wisdom came from a 6-year-old is funny enough as it is, but I think I found it even more entertaining because it sounds like something my son would say. At 7 years old, he definitely seems to have a better way of managing the stress in his life than I do.

(And yes, I know it's because his stress pales in comparison to mine, but just go with it.)
