1P.S. I Love You

P.S. I Love You isn't only one of my favorite romantic movies, it's one of my favorite favorite movies. Makes me want to go do karaoke. Or fish.

AdoreHim: P.S. I Love You. Gah, it's got it all.  It's a tear jerker, a comedy, a romance! And Gerard Butler is my favorite actor so it wins automatically because of that simple fact. Sexy.

2The Notebook

Never fails, I cry every. single. time.

maddieandleomom: The Notebook is definitely my favorite. I only just discovered it and now I cannot get enough of it!  The book was great, too.

3Return To Me

mommycaredoula: My favorite all time romantic movie is Return to Me--with David Duchovny and Minnie Driver.  My husband and I watch it at least once a month!

4The Princess Bride

The Princess Bride is a witty, modern-day fairy tale.

swnkstr_ars4lif: An oldie but goodie, this classic is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time, not to mention best romance! None can compare!

This movie holds a special place in my heart because of a past love, so it's always on my personal favorites list, but it's also a favorite romantic flick amongst CafeMoms.

offrdngal: Ooo...I love Serendipity!

6You've Got Mail

"What will NY152 say today, I wonder. I turn on my computer. I wait impatiently as it connects. I go online, and my breath catches in my chest until I hear three little words: You've got mail. I hear nothing. Not even a sound on the streets of New York, just the beating of my own heart. I have mail. From you."

Such a cute movie!

7Dirty Dancing

The cliche' story of good girl meets bad boy works so well for this film. Dirty Dancing is one of those movies that I can watch over and over again, and never get sick of.

8The Bridges of Madison County

brandoneaglemom: The Bridges of Madison County will always be a favorite!

I love how this movie isn't so focused on the affair as much as it is about two people wholeheartedly enjoying each other's presence, and a mother and wife being able to finally live for herself.

"The old dreams were good dreams, they didn't work out, but I'm glad I had them."

9Gone With the Wind

An American classic that still holds the title for highest-grossing movie if you take inflation into account.

Love story about chasing the one that will never be yours and not appreciating what you have until too it's too late.
