The Sanderson Sisters Channel Lizzo in 'Hocus Pocus' Parody of 'Truth Hurts'

Hocus Pocus Lizzo Truth Hurts Parody

One of our favorite parts of the Halloween season is watching Hocus Pocus, and we can probably all agree that Lizzo is having a moment right now -- outside of the one she's already enjoying, thanks to all her success. And when the two combine, they're unstoppable. A Hocus Pocus "Truth Hurts" parody is here, and it's definitely a must-see.

  • The video includes three women dressed as the Sanderson sisters, singing 'Truth Hurts' with altered lyrics.

Winifred, Mary, and Sarah are played by Gina Baez, Andrea Galeno, and Mary Baron, and they definitely look the part. It's the same song we've been singing in the car for the past few months, but with a very witch-y twist.

  • The lyrics are seriously perfect -- including the line "I just took a DNA test, turns out I'm 100% that witch."

There are plenty of references to Hocus Pocus, too -- like the black flame candle, cauldrons, and smelling children (their favorite, obvs).

Instead of "Why men great 'til they gotta be great?", the lyrics have been changed to "Why Satan great 'til he gotta be great?"

It truly could not be more perfect.

  • Here's the video in full:

Just in case any of us needed a little help getting into the spooky mood this season, this "Truth Hurts" rendition definitely has us covered. Although we've been counting down the days until it's socially acceptable to start watching Halloween movies like this one for months

The video itself is seriously impressive too. These ladies did a great job!

  • Honestly, anything related to 'Hocus Pocus' is a win right now.

After all, it is set to air 27 times during 31 Nights of Halloween on Freeform this year, so the time to get in the mood is now

Anyone else feel like getting a pumpkin spice latte? It's the most wonderful time of the year, after all.
