Ever since we heard there would be a sequel to It, catching up with the kids of Derry all grown up, we've been dying to find out more. And now, the time has finally come. The first trailer for It: Chapter 2 is finally here, and it looks like Pennywise is far from finished when it comes to terrorizing this town.

And yes, it seems just as creepy as the first movie -- if not more!

  • The trailer starts off with a grown up Beverly (played by Jessica Chastain) visiting her childhood home in Derry.

An old woman lives there now, and she lets Beverly come in and look around. At first, it's nice to see the place cleaned up and taken care of -- being that she had such horrible memories there, it's a huge change.

And the lady seems really nice, but ... as we know, in the It universe, things aren't always what they seem.

  • "You know what they say about Derry," the woman who owns Beverly's home says. "No one who ever dies here really ever dies."

Then Beverly starts seeing all the red flags -- the flies on the wall, the creepy music, the fact that there's a photo of Pennywise himself on the wall.

TBH, we don't know why she'd ever set foot in that house again, but at this point, we'd be telling her to run.

RUN, GIRL. GET OUT OF THERE!

  • By the time Beverly realizes something is terribly wrong with that house, it's too late.

The woman transforms into a creature that is very Pennywise-like, and although we don't see how the scene ends, it's not looking good.

  • The rest of the trailer shows tons of clips from the movie, including footage of the whole group back together.

Jessica is joined by James McAvoy, who plays Bill, Bill Hader as Richie, Andy Bean as Stanley, James Ransone as Eddie, Jay Ryan as Ben, and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike.

And yes, the child actors will be returning to play the cast as kids in flashbacks as the Loser's Club reunites in Derry almost 30 years after the first movie left off.

  • There's red balloon imagery EVERYWHERE, because this *is* Pennywise we're talking about.

Of course, Bill Skarsgard is reprising his role as the most terrifying clown ever, because what would this movie be without him?

  • The trailer ends with Pennywise's face appearing out of the dark to a little girl.

Aaaaand that's enough to give us nightmares for the rest of the year.

    Thanks, Pennywise.

  • People are pretty pumped about this movie now that the trailer is finally here.

The general reaction has been really positive, whether people are excited about the cast or the movie itself.

Just from this trailer alone, though, it looks like it's going to be really good... and really scary. Maybe we won't go see it at night?
