An 'It: Chapter 2' Trailer Surfaced & It's Pretty Creepy

If there's one thing we're looking forward to this year, it's all the horror movies slated to premiere in 2019. We love a good scare (sidenote: Hilary Duff in The Haunting of Sharon Tate looks like a scream), even if that means shouting at the screen and covering our eyes for 80% of the film. Welp, a trailer for It: Chapter 2 is making the rounds and it has lovers of scary movies sounding off.

  • The trailer starts out with children playing at a kiddie spot before the fun and games are interrupted.

... by bloody body parts that conveniently happen to slide down to the ball pit.

    (Yeah, that's not nasty.)

  • There's creepy scenes...

    Nope, nope, nope.

If we ever saw a long hand like that scratching up against our car, we are gone. (Whatever it is can have the entire car.)

  • and glimpses of some of the stars of the upcoming movie.

It: Chapter 2 takes place 20-something years after the Losers Club (that's what the kids called themselves) came together to fight Pennywise. James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, and Bill Hader are some of the actors slated to star in the movie sequel.

  • There's even shots of the wonderfully cringeworthy Pennywise that have us ready to throw away our screens.

There's something about clowns that scream "run for your life!" to us. Those painted faces and overexaggerated smiles don't remind us of cheery days.

    They give us the chills.

  • This It: Chapter 2 trailer has received 12 million views (and counting) and has people ready to see the movie with the quickness.

There are tons of comments about how good the movie looks based on the trailer (we'll get to that in a sec) and how much people want to see it.

  • Others might not even make it to theaters, because they think it looks to frightening.

Honestly, we don't blame them one bit. As much as we love to scream at horror movies, certain images have us ready to hide under the covers ... or the bed.

  • Whether people are fans of this It trailer or not, there's a 100% chance we won't see any of this in the movie.

It's a fan-made (concept) trailer that pulls from a bunch of movies. Creative, but not the original trailer.

In fact, outlets report the official trailer for It: Chapter 2 has yet to drop, so it looks like we're still playing the waiting game.
