'She's All That' Cast 20 Years Later: Where Are They Now?

Freddy Prinze Jr., Rachael Leigh Cook in She's All That

In case no one told ya, '90s teens movies are epic! Although their plots are often as repetitive as the characters and actors who played them, we just can't get enough of this genre. She's All That pretty much tops the list as one of our favorite movies from the '90s. It had everything: Freddie Prinze Jr. as hot high school jock; Zack Siler, who gets dumped by his equally popular girlfriend; and Taylor Vaughn, played by Jodi Lyn O'Keefe. He makes a bet with his best bud, Dean, played by the late Paul Walker, that he can turn any girl at school into the next prom queen. Well, Dean picks Laney Boggs (Rachael Leigh Cook), a geeky, unpopular girl as his choice for Zack.

Of course things go horribly wrong before they go adorably right, making this one of our favorite '90s films. With starring roles from the likes of Usher, Lil Kim, Kieran Culkin, Anna Paquin, and Gabrielle Union, this movie is jam-packed with star power.

(It also has an amazing dance sequence and a killer soundtrack.)

Although some of the stars have gone on to become household names, others have not, which leads us to ask, "Where are they now?" Of course we know Usher's music and have seen Freddie Prinze Jr.'s movies. We also mourned the loss of the beloved Paul Walker, but what about the rest of the cast?

This year marks 20 years since She's All That came out (feel old yet?), so let's take a look at the cast and what they've been up to these last two decades.

  • Freddie Prinze Jr.: Then

In She's All That, Freddie Prinze Jr. plays Zack Siler, the "big man on campus" who's smart, good-looking, and thrives in pretty much anything he does. When his girlfriend leaves him for a Real World star, he takes on the bet of dating someone on the bottom of the social totem pole to make her the next high school "it girl."

  • Freddie Prinze Jr.: Now

Freddie married his I Know What You Did Last Summer costar, Sarah Michelle Gellar, back in 2002. They produced and starred in several Scooby Doo reboots and have two kids together, Charlotte Grace and Rocky James. Freddie has kept pretty busy since She's All That, guest-starring on 24 and voicing Kanan Jarrus in Star Wars Rebels. He even had his own sitcom, Freddie, for a short minute, from 2005 to 2006.

Freddie is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has his own cookbook called Back to the Kitchen: 75 Delicious, Real Recipes (& True Stories) From a Food-Obsessed Actor.

  • Rachael Leigh Cook: Then

Rachael Leigh Cook starred as Laney Boggs, a geeky girl turned mega-hottie and the eventual object of Zack's affection.

  • Rachael Leigh Cook: Now

Rachael Leigh Cook has keep pretty busy since her days as Laney Boggs -- acting in a television show or movie almost every year since the 1999 film. We enjoyed her as Kate Moretti on the TNT show Perception and have enjoyed her in Hallmark movies such as Summer in the Vineyard and Frozen in Love.

When she's not acting, Rachael stays busy raising her two kids with Originals star Daniel Gillies.

  • Matthew Lillard: Then

Lillard stared as ex Real Word castmate and girlfriend stealer Brock Hudson. He stole Zack's girlfriend Taylor during an epic spring break bash.

  • Matthew Lillard: Now

Matthew teamed up with fellow costar Freddie Prinze Jr. as Shaggy for the Scooby-Doo films. He also made appearances on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and The Good Wife and has continued on the Scooby train as Shaggy in a number of projects -- including the upcoming TV series Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?

This funny guy has been married since 2000 and has three children.

  • Jodi Lyn O'Keefe: Then

In She's All That, Jodi played Taylor Vaughn, the most popular girl in school and Laney's arch nemesis.

  • Jodi Lyn O'Keefe: Now

Jodi spent the last few years starring on various television shows -- including The Vampire Diaries, Prison Break, and Hit The Floor. She has her own clothing and jewelry lines and even has a license as a bounty hunter.

  • Kevin Pollak: Then

Kevin Pollak starred as Laney's dad, Wayne Boggs. It was a small part but quite memorable thanks to Pollak's impeccable acting skills and eccentric character choices.

  • Kevin Pollak: Now

Pollak is a prolific actor and has starred in an assortment of films -- including The Whole Nine Yards, and The Wedding Planner. Most recently, he can be seen in a recurring role on the hit show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

  • Anna Paquin: Then

Anna Paquin played Zack's sister, Mac, and is the one responsible for turning Laney into a total hottie.

  • Anna Paquin: Now

Since her role in She's All That, Anna starred in HBO's hit show True Blood as the lead character Sookie Stackhouse. She married her costar, Stephen Moyer, and they have boy-girl twins together.

  • Kieran Culkin: Then

Kieran Culkin starred as Laney's geeky but adorable little brother, Simon Boggs -- which makes total sense as he is the little brother of actor Macaulay Culkin.

  • Kieran Culkin: Now

Culkin stars in the hit HBO show Succession, earning him a Golden Globe nomination this year. He previously starred in the films The Cider House Rules and Music of the Heart.

  • Elden Henson: Then

Elden Henson played Laney's best friend, Jesse Jackson, in the film and was the one who helps Zack speak to Laney for the first time.

  • Elden Henson: Now

Henson has had roles in the Hunger Games: Mockingjay parts 1 and 2. He also stars as Foggy Nelson in Netflix's Daredevil, though Netflix recently canceled it (sob).

  • Usher Raymond: Then

Usher was a well-known recording artist prior to his role as Campus DJ in She's All That. Still, he gave us David Silver Beverly Hills, 90210 vibes during his performance.

  • Usher Raymond: Now

After the film's release, Usher went on to star in several other films -- but it was his musical career that put him on the map. He's one of the best-selling artists EVER, has guest judged on The Voice, and is a dad to two sons.

  • Gabrielle Union: Then

Gabrielle Union plays a small part as Taylor Vaughn's friend, Katie, in the film.

(Fun fact: She's All That was Gab's first credited movie role.)

  • Gabrielle Union: Now

Union went on to star in a slew of other '90s teen movies -- including the hit Bring It On. She has also starred in films such as Bad Boys 2, Deliver Us From Eva, and is teaming up with Jessica Alba for a Bad Boys TV spin-off.

Gabrielle is married to NBA player Dwayne Wade, and they recently welcomed their first baby together, a girl named Kaavia James.

  • Dulé Hill: Then

Dulé Hill played Preston, one of Zack and Dean's buddies who threw the house party Zack took Laney to that made Taylor jealous.

  • Dulé Hill: Now

Since She's All That, Dulé has kept very busy in the acting game. He was Charlie Young on The West Wing, Burton Guster in Psych, and fills his days playing Alex Williams in Suits.

  • Paul Walker: Then

Paul Walker played Dean Sampson, Zack's best buddy and originator of the bet that sets the whole movie into motion. It's Dean who picks Laney as the choice for his bet with Zack.

  • Paul Walker: Now

After She's All That, Walker skyrocketed to fame playing Brian O'Conner in the Fast & Furious films. Sadly, he passed away in a car accident in 2013 at the age of 40. His legacy -- including his philanthropic efforts -- continues on as his daughter, Meadow Walker, launched the Paul Walker Foundation to "to serve as an enduring light of Paul's unique spirit, far reaching goals, and spontaneous goodwill."
