The secret is out that that Jamie Dornan didn't go full-frontal for Fifty Shades Freed; however ... new details reveal that it was by design, not that it didn't happen. During the premiere in Paris, director James Foley said in an interview with ET that there were plenty of scenes where Jamie was completely naked, but the decision was to leave them out.

  • Why does he have to tease us like that?!

Foley's exact words were, "There were actually scenes that we shot where it was [full-frontal nudity]."

Let's take a moment and let that sink in.

  • And why NOT show Jamie in all his glory?

Foley admitted that it just didn't feel right. "Full frontal would have been a kind of deliberate cut, to see that for no reason."

No reason? We're talking about sex scenes here. There is plenty of reason to see the Dornan D.

Okay. Okay. We don't really need to see it, especially if it doesn't lend to the film.

  • Dakota Johnson is quick to mention how naked she got. Double standard?

Dakota said, "I mean, there is a lot more of my body that's shown than Jamie's actually," she noted, adding that "weirdly he's the one doing all the push-ups."

  • Maybe it's all a build-up to get us to buy the unrated version.

Not to sound completely obsessed, but maybe the nude scenes that were cut will show up on the unrated version of Freed. Being that this is the last installment of the trilogy, it would be a good idea to hold some special bits for after the frenzy dies down.
