As if we need another reason to watch the badass superhero known as Wonder Woman come to life on the big screen! Directed by the equally badass Patty Jenkins, the blockbuster is shattering box office sales and glass ceilings at the same damn time. But that's not all: Wonder Woman heroine Gal Gadot was pregnant during filming, which only reiterates that moms truly have superhero powers.

The 32-year-old Israeli actress was so pregnant during Wonder Woman reshoots (Entertainment Weekly revealed Gadot was five months along with her second child) that production had to adjust her costume and even add in some CGI magic to help conceal her growing bump.

"On close-up I looked very much like Wonder Woman," Gadot joked to EW. "On wide shots I looked very funny, like Wonder Woman pregnant with Kermit the Frog."

You go, Mom!

Director Patty Jenkins couldn't help but sing Gadot's praises, telling Entertainment Weekly just how much Wonder Woman endured to do reshoots for the now-blockbuster origin film.

"[Gal's] pregnant during part of the movie, in a suit out in a field in the freezing cold in others," Jenkins mentioned. "There are so many things we asked her to do: Now do it on one foot. Now shout while you're doing it. Now it's raining in the freezing cold and you've lost your voice, go. Every day it was a hilarious gauntlet and she would do it."

In fact, Gal's performance while carrying her own little warrior princess was so powerful, producer Chuck Roven says the last Wonder Woman action scene was a sight to see. "[Gadot] couldn't do a huge amount of physical activity but she was being aggressive," Roven told EW. "She still had to be fierce. That was special. I've been doing this for a while but I've never had that experience before."

Aside from donning a pretty form-fitting outfit with a baby bump, we cannot imagine kicking ass, wielding a sword, riding a horse, and tossing the enemies of this world with the Lasso of Truth all while likely fighting pesky pregnancy symptoms -- like nausea, back pains, fatigue, bloating, and the endless need to pee.

And, yet, Gal did it -- which makes her an even bigger badass in our book.

Plus, the mom now has a wonderful story to share with her baby daughter Maya, whom she was carrying while shooting Wonder Woman. (Gadot and husband Yaron Versano welcomed Maya, who joined their 5-year-old daughter Alma, back in March.)

"Now, at least, we will be able to tell her [new] daughter Maya that she's in her mom's stomach right then, in the middle of that battle scene," director Patty Jenkins told Entertainment Weekly, recalling the fight scene Gadot shot while pregnant.

Yup, Gal IS Wonder Woman.
