When Dakota Johnson steps out for an event, we're paying attention. And her latest ensemble has us really excited. On a hanger, the red tunic and pants outfit Dakota's wearing (almost a pantsuit) may look like NBD. But on her, it's just stunning.
The look is very '70s and is in a matte suede with slight patchwork detailing. Tunic and pants -- how delightful! It's so wearable.

Dakota stepped out in this number for The Hollywood Reporter's Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood dinner in Los Angeles. Her stylist is Kate Young, who also dresses Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams -- two other ladies who always look fab. Of note on Dakota: Those slip-on shoes ... blood-red perfection.
Also, yes ... that's a golden bag she's clutching. We are in love!

This look is kind of anti-Hollywood. Not too fancy. Definitely not overstated. It's the outfit you could wear to your kid's choral concert or the look you can pull together for dinner out with your girlfriends. It's perfect for holiday gatherings (not just Christmas or Valentine's Day despite its all-over red). It's one of those easy looks, all pulled together, fix your hair however you'd like kind of styles.
Dakota never stops with the inspo. Now where can we find this in our budget?!
