Jamie Dornan's Dream Role Could Make Us Forget All About Christian Grey

Since filming for the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy has long since wrapped, it's no surprise that our leading man is looking at future projects. But could Jamie Dornan be the next James Bond? It looks like the 34-year-old Irish hottie has been hinting around that he wants the role.

The Sun reports that Jamie helped out a radio station with some rap lyrics in an effort to raise some money for a charity, but it's the content of what he rhymed that has everyone talking.

Q Radio host Stephen Clements was putting together a parody of Eminem's "Stan," and Dornan's own lyrics pretty much say it all. Jamie penned his own addition to the tune, rapping, "Dear Stephen, I'm sorry it took me so long to respond -- I've been running around the world trying to convince people I'm James Bond. It would be good to meet up, have a pint and see what you're all about -- I just googled you there and it seems radio was a good shout."

We might just blow this off as good fun, especially since Christian Grey probably believes he's cooler than James Bond himself, but the role might actually be open to a new actor within Jamie's pool of talent.

Our current bond, Daniel Craig, is reportedly being very cagey on whether or not he will continue to reprise his role in the franchise. The studio is said to be looking for his replacement since he apparently won't commit to them about another movie.

While it may seem that Jamie is still a tad young to play 007, it's worth noting that Sean Connery was 32 when he took on the role. So, you know, stranger things have happened.
