Jamie Dornan likes to separate himself from his Fifty Shades Darker character, Christian Grey. We know he's nothing like him, but Jamie wants to make it perfectly clear that he isn't into what Christian is into when it comes to sex.

Us Weekly reports that within Jamie's GQ Australia interview, he said that BDSM "doesn't float [his] boat." So when Jamie goes to a hardware store, he isn't buying rope to tie up his wife Amelia Warner. Got it. He also wants people to know that just because his boat isn't floated (suddenly we have dirty thoughts), that doesn't mean he's a square -- he's "open minded and liberal." He told GQ, "I'd never judge anyone's sexual preference. Whatever gets people off is entirely up to them and there's a million different ways to please yourself, sexually."

A million different ways ... There are a million different ways we can profess our love for this guy. (And a million different fantasies fans have had thanks to him.) He's got that live and let live vibe -- all acceptance, all love for all. Love who you want, when you want, and how you want. And quite frankly, we love Christian Grey, but Jamie is a much better bloke ... even if S&M is your thing. Christian is a bit more ... how shall we say this ... uptight? Despite all the spankings he likes to give.

Jamie agrees. "He's not the sort of bloke I'd get along with," he shared in his GQ interview. "All my mates are easy going and quick to laugh -- I wouldn't imagine myself sat in a pub with him. I don't think he would be my type, when it comes to choosing mates."

We can't even imagine Christian in a pub having drinks with friends and just relaxing. And yet that's something that fits perfectly within Ana's character. Opposites attracted here, in a major way. And as the trilogy continues to unfold, we're guessing we will see Christian trying out Ana's world just as much as she has ventured into his. Jamie's world, however, is just something else entirely.
