The Official 'Beauty and the Beast' Trailer Is Here & It Definitely Doesn't Disappoint

In recent years, Disney has taken some of its classic movies and turned them into live-action hits, ultimately re-branding them for a new generation while catering to the sense of nostalgia felt by those who are older. In the interest of full disclosure, though, I will admit that I have never been much of a fan of the live reboots -- and when news of a live-action Beauty and the Beast surfaced, I feared that Disney would completely ruin this classic.


That is, until the official Beauty and the Beast trailer was released. And, yes, you will want to see how this tale as old as time is seriously brought to life.

While watching talking teacups and Emma Watson with her amazing interpretation of Belle, I felt like my expectations (which I didn't even know I had) were met. It made me gush. In fact, it's made me the most excited I've been to see a movie in a very long time -- waiting for March 17 feels nearly impossible.

As the original movie came out in 1991, this is near and dear to the hearts of many millennials -- so I'm happy to see that Disney seems to be doing it justice in the age of sometimes regrettable reboots in Hollywood. From Belle's classic yellow dress (without a corset, of course) to epically unforgettable moments, this film looks like it will pay homage to the OG Beauty and the Beast.

Our hearts are already melting! So, needless to say, I'll more than likely be in a theater with a box of Kleenex as I watch the Beast win Belle's heart like it's 1991 all over again. And I won't be alone.
