She's the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, and she's our Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey, but there is so much more to Dakota Johnson than that. Beautiful and talented, Dakota's upbringing (with Antonio Banderas as her step-dad) was certainly different than most, and some facts may surprise you.
While immersed in Hollywood, there is something about Dakota that makes her seem just like you or me. She's down-to-earth, yet has that movie star quality. Dakota told Glamour UK: "I was on Facebook until I caught myself being a psycho stalker. That's when I chose to stop." She's not on Instagram either. But look! She's talks on the phone!
Blonde is her natural hair color.
Dakota is a natural blonde like her mom. It's incredible how different she looks with a different hair color. Gorgeous either way.

She has tattoos.
Dakota has some noticeable and some not-so noticeable tattoos. She has this one behind her ear, one on the inside of her arm that says, Acta Non Verba" which is Latin for "Deeds Not Words." She also has swallows on her right shoulder, and one on her foot with stars that says "Look At The Moon."

'Crazy In Alabama' was her Hollywood debut.
Dakota's big screen debut came in the 1999 movie Crazy in Alabama, which starred her mom, Melanie Griffith. Dakota and her sister Stella Banderas played their real-life mom's daughters in the film.
