This Season's Top 5 Streamed Christmas Movies Revealed

There's nothing quite like this time of year for pulling out our favorite Christmas movies and re-watching them. Whether we fell in love with them as kids or more recently, there's always a certain sense of nostalgia that they bring. This year, Amazon put together a list not only of which cities in America are streaming the most Christmas movies, but also our top five favorites.

Amazon used a handy-dandy metric to determine what and where we are watching our Fire TVs, and we now know which city is the merriest -- or, well, where the most Christmas movies watchers are contained!

The top 10 list of holiday-movie-loving towns are:

  1. Salt Lake City, Utah
  2. Seattle, Washington
  3. Santa Clara, California
  4. Providence, Rhode Island
  5. Spokane, Washington
  6. Everett, Washington
  7. Minneapolis, Minnesota
  8. Alexandria, Virginia
  9. Tacoma, Washington
  10. Green Bay, Wisconsin

As to what those merry people have been watching -- it's a lot of the classics:

  1. Christmas Classics, Volume 1 -- a collection of eight holiday movies, including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
  2. Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas
  3. Arthur's Perfect Christmas
  4. Elf
  5. A Dr. Seuss combo video with How the Grinch Stole Christmas and the Whoville-related story Horton Hears a Who

I've got to say, I'm a little surprised Arthur made the list over classics like Miracle on 34th Street, but hey -- maybe that aardvark knows something about spreading Christmas cheer that I need to check out.
