Jamie Dornan Might Be Making a Return to 'Once Upon a Time'

Before Fifty Shades of Grey, Jamie Dornan stole our hearts when he played Sheriff Graham (the Huntsman) on Once Upon a Time. Now that the show's producers are planning its big 100th episode, the question on fans' minds is: Will Dornan reprise his character on the fairy-tale reunion?

Jamie is, of course, all set to take on Christian Grey again in both Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, and given the latest news that the sequels will be shot back-to-back, I can't imagine when he'll even have time to read a third script.

And then there's this: Once Upon a Time's executive producers Adam Hororwitz and Eddy Kitsis already anticipated they'd be asked about both Jamie and actor Sebastian Stan, who played the Mad Hatter, and their response kind of says it all: "You know, I would not hold your breath for either of those characters," Kitsis told ET. "Unfortunately, those two [actors] are very hard to pin down."

More from The Stir: Filming Schedule for 'Fifty Shades' Sequels Might Be Jamie Dornan's Worst Nightmare

Once Upon a Time is fortunate to be able to include Jamie and Sebastian as part of its cast, though I wonder if they're kicking themselves now for not writing them more major roles. Despite news that past cast members like Emma Caulfield, who played the Blind Witch, Robbie Kay (Peter Pan), and Giancarlo Esposito (Magic Mirror) will make an appearance in the 100th episode, it doesn't sound like Jamie is going to be taking that trip down memory lane again — though, you never know. He might have a change of heart and make a cameo. Never say never.

And, if it doesn't happen, let's cut him some slack. The man really doesn't have a second to himself these days, and it sounds like his schedule is about to become jam-packed. I'm sure his spirit will be alive on the Once Upon a Time set.
