'He Named Me Malala' Trailer Will Give You All the Feels (VIDEO)

Grab some Kleenex, because you're going to need it watching this preview for He Named Me Malala. Malala Yousafzai just turned 18 last month, but she's already become and international symbol of, and has even received, the Nobel Peace Prize.

In October 2012, she was shot in the head by the Taliban for boarding a school bus in Pakistan. After her miraculous survival, she became an activist for girls' rights, refusing to be silenced.

The story follows Malala's journey from the time she was shot to meeting with world leaders -- all because she refused to be silenced.

Even though she says that her story is similar to many other girls', she has given hope to millions who would otherwise be afraid to share their ideas. In the trailer, she says, "They thought that bullet would silence us ... but I am the same Malala."

She's a hero, and her story is one I'm looking forward to seeing on the big screen.
