First 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' Trailer Is Just as Awesome as We Hoped (VIDEO)

It's Katniss versus the Capitol at last! The first official trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 was released on Tuesday, June 9, and it looks like the final installment of the films based on Suzanne Collins' bestselling novels is going to be a wild ride.

Do we really have to wait until November 20 to see it in theaters? It hardly seems fair! Until then, we'll just have to satisfy ourselves by watching this trailer 27 times.

It looks like the gang is all there -- including Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), whom we last saw thrashing and strapped to a bed in the final scene of Part 1, having been brainwashed to accomplish one task -- kill the love of his life, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence).

Speaking of Katniss, she may not have decided between Peeta and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) yet, but she is focused on leading the rebellion to overturn the Capitol. "Nothing good is safe while Snow is alive," she ominously warns. "Snow (Donald Sutherland) has to pay for what he's done."

Snow's waiting for her though, and it looks as though he still has a few tricks up his sleeve to crush the rebellion. "Make no mistake," he warns with a grin, "The game isn't over."
