jamie dornan Jamie Dornan's role in Fifty Shades of Grey gives us plenty to dream about. Dornan knows this -- and he also believes that Fifty Shades is a love story, a romance, much like Shakespeare. Dornan felt the need to defend the movie to German magazine Jolie. He said of Fifty Shades:

It's mainly about love. In quite a classic way really -- it's just like Shakespeare used to write it. Ana and Christian are two people who, on paper, shouldn't really go together, their worlds couldn't be more different. Love. Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Erotica gets a bum rap. The books were put through the ringer. Listen, it still got us hot and bothered and ended with a movie deal. Can we not be satisfied with that?! And then, of course, the movie ... and the upcoming movies ... and Jamie Dornan ... and LOVE! Love comes in all forms. Even with flogs.

Fifty Shades is a love story. It is romance -- a dom-rom I like to call it. And Jamie says it best -- two star-crossed lovers overcoming so much to be together. Quite classic, indeed.

Do you agree with Jamie? Do you see Fifty Shades as a romance?
