'50 Shades' Baby Boom Predicted to Be Bigger Than Anyone Imagined

Midwives, consider yourselves warned -- it may be hard to get time off in November 2015. That's because that particular month is nine months after the release of the movie Fifty Shades of Grey, and some people are expecting a baby boom.

In particular, one hospital in England, which has reportedly warned employees of the maternity ward to book their vacation time, if they hope to get it in November.

A notice was allegedly put up in the maternity ward in a hospital in Leeds which read, "Important information for midwives. The movie Fifty Shades of Grey is being released February 13, 2015 + 40 weeks = November 20, 2015. Book your annual leave now."

It was said to be posted at St. James's University Hospital on February 12, one day before the screen adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan hit big screens all over the world.

A spokesman claimed that she could not verify the notice's existence, but come on -- it just makes sense! The film made over $500 million in the first couple of weeks it was in theaters, shattering previous records for movies opening in February, over Valentine's Day, and over President's Day weekend.

And it's sexy. What couple wouldn't feel a little extra frisky after watching Christian and Ana together in the Red Room of Pain? The movie may have squeaked by with an "R" rating, but that doesn't mean couples kept it "PG-13" once they got home from seeing it, if you know what I mean (wink, wink).

There may or may not be an actual baby boom nine months after the release of Fifty Shades of Grey ... but if there is, we won't be surprised at all.

Do you think more babies than usual will be born in November 2015?
