Jamie Dornan May Be Pulling Out of '50 Shades of Grey' Sequels

With the commercial success of Fifty Shades of Grey, you'd think the leading actor would be chomping at the bit to complete the naughty trilogy. While there's no official word yet, all signs point to two more movies being made in the Fifty Shades trilogy. And rumor has it -- Jamie Dornan won't be a part of the sequels.

It's all just speculation at this point, but the word is that Jamie Dornan is hesitant to reprise his role as billionaire sexual dominant Christian Grey in the wildly popular Fifty Shades franchise.

Apparently, Dornan's wife, Amelia Warner, is "unhappy with him acting out the explicit sex scenes in the controversial film."

The pair share a 15-month-old daughter, and Dornan has famously said that his wife would not watch the movie herself. Can't say we blame her, because duh, who would want to see their hubs getting it on in such an explicit way -- even if it is pretend?

Apparently, one insider revealed, "He tried to assure Amelia nothing would change but women all over the world now lust after Jamie ... She hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will to be honest."

Another rumor floating around about why Dornan may not be willing to play Christian Grey again is the scathing reviews by critics of the lack of chemistry between him and costar Dakota Johnson. The source said, "Jamie does not think his performance was bad -- instead he blames Dakota and says it wasn't possible to have chemistry with her ... He says Dakota gave him nothing to work with."

Of course it's doubtful that Universal would let Dornan off for the sequels so easily, presuming that his contract includes the second and third movies, should they be made. As of now, we're going to call this one a rumor and nothing more.

Do you think Fifty Shades of Grey would be the same without Jamie Dornan?
