'50 Shades of Grey' Will Have 2 Sequels -- Fans Rejoice!

Christian Grey fans, today's your lucky day. It's just been announced that the film version of Fifty Shades of Grey will have two sequels. That's right, Fifty-philes, in the next few years, you'll be logging about six hours of seeing Jamie Dornan naked. Don't try to act like you're not ... excited


On Saturday, at an advanced screening of the film, director Sam Taylor-Johnson announced that two sequels will be following the original Fifty Shades -- Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. At this point, it isn't clear who will star in the subsequent films. Some are assuming it will be Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson again, but many others are speculating that won't be the case, given that the stars are rumored to not like each other.

If two more films were already given the go, clearly everyone has high hopes for the first flick out of the trilogy. Also, whether audiences unanimously enjoy the film or not, according to Vanity Fair, Fifty Shades had the fastest-selling advanced ticket sales for an R-rated movie in Fandango's history. AKA, doesn't matter if it sucks, it's going to make boatloads of cash.

Hopefully, Fifty fans will be pleased with the film adaptation of their favorite book and the two subsequent films will be totally worth it. Though, let's be honest, nothing will ever truly live up to the book lovers' expectations.
