'50 Shades' Director Reveals Explosive On-Set Secret

Is it really only a couple of weeks until Fifty Shades of Grey hits the theaters? Seems like fans have been waiting FOREVER. Yeah, we're still not sure what to expect! While the promos have looked pretty hot, there have been plenty of rumors that Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan just don't have the chemistry that Ana and Christian should. But director Sam Taylor-Johnson revealed something very interesting about the filming ...

Taylor-Johnson told Porter magazine that she and writer EL James did NOT get along on the set! Check it out:

It was difficult, I'm not going to lie. We definitely fought, but they were creative fights and we would resolve them. We would have proper on-set barneys, and I'm not confrontational, but it was about finding a way between the two of us, satisfying her vision of what she'd written as well as my need to visualize this person on screen, but, you know, we got there.

EL James was in a position few writers ever achieve -- she not only saw her work being adapted for the big screen, but she actually got to be on set! And got to give her opinion on things! This is quite extraordinary; usually writers are persona non grata in Hollywood and not welcome to come around giving their thoughts and suggestions. Probably because, well, it will piss everyone off -- just like it did Taylor-Johnson!

What I love is that these two women were so very invested and protective and passionate about their commitment and vision to the movie.

That means that the passion will probably translate into some hot and heavy sexiness between Christian and Ana. I mean, imagine if the show were being run by guys, who were just doing it for the money and who didn't really care with their whole heart, soul, and vagina about the project?!

When fighting is done for the sake of creative vision, it's very hot ... so I think that this is bound to show up in the love scenes. Mark my words!
