Jamie Dornan Reveals Very Kinky Thing He Did to Prep for 'Fifty Shades'

Jamie DornanMost of the rumors floating around about the movie adaptation of E. L. James' wildly popular erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey would have us believe that it's more about the romance than the kink, but Jamie Dornan's latest confession may mean that there's going to be more than enough to satisfy us. Wait until you hear what he did to prepare to play Christian Grey!

The hunky 32-year-old actor graces the cover of the February issue of Elle UK, and he opened up in an interview about visiting a "sex dungeon" while getting ready for the title role in Fifty Shades of Grey.

In case you've been living under a rock (come on, Fifty Shades has sold more copies than Harry Potter), the story centers around S&M-loving billionaire Christian Grey and his virginal girlfriend Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). So of course he visited a sex dungeon!

"I went there, they offered me a beer, and they did ... whatever they were into. I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives," he confessed of his character prep.

"I was like: 'Come on, guys, I know I'm not paying for this, but I am expecting a show,'" he joked. "It was an interesting evening. Then going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards ... I had a long shower before touching either of them."

The Once Upon a Time actor and his wife Amelia Warner had a daughter in November 2013.

Visiting a sex dungeon isn't the only thing the former underwear model did to prepare for his most famous role to date. Earlier this year, he confessed, "There are a couple of classic knots I know now, and I've put them to good use far too many times recently ... in fact, I'd like to do a job where I don't have to tie women to beds."

We can't wait until Valentine's Day 2015 to see how Jamie Dornan put all his research to work to play Christian Grey!

Do you think the movie will have a fair amount of S&M?
