Jamie Dornan Talks About Full Frontal Nudity for 'Fifty Shades'

Jamie Dornan

50 Shades of Grey fans might be in for a huge surprise… or a disappointment, depending on your taste. Jamie Dornan said there will be no full frontal nudity in the film, leaving die-hard fans wondering if the movie will stay authentic to the novel.

What’s more, Dornan says that he is keeping his goods well hidden because he doesn’t want to disappoint his fans with what they might see.

Um, say what?!?!

According to The Guardian, Dornan says that when he signed up to play sex God Christian Grey in the film, he knew from the get-go that he wouldn’t be showing off his goods in front of the camera. And not only that, he also said that he didn’t want viewers to be “grossed out” by what they would see:

You want to appeal to as wide an audience as possible without grossing them out. You don’t want to make something gratuitous, and ugly, and graphic. There were contracts in place that said viewers wouldn’t be seeing my, um… todger. Yeah, my todger.

Excuse me? I’m pretty sure that fans who are going to see the movie have read the book and they know what they’re in for. And as far as feeling grossed out by seeing Jamie Dornan, oh honey, that would never happen. Not in this lifetime!

With that being said, for Dornan’s sake, I’m relieved that they won’t be showing his package in the film. This isn’t porn for goodness sake, and it would be hard for the film industry to take Dornan seriously if he were to do a full frontal scene for a movie that hoards of soccer moms will most likely see. They would basically kill him with the late night talk show jokes.

Do you think that the 50 Shades of Grey movie will be disappointing for fans now?
