Robert Pattinson's Hot New Indie Flick May Just Outdo 'Breaking Dawn, Part 2' (PHOTO)

I mean, what's hotter than RPattz with his Edward fangs and pale and sparkly vampire skin? Well, bad-ass, indie RPattz with a so-kooky-it's-hot-haircut and a gun, of course. Oh yeah ...

Seriously, people, Rob may actually be getting hotter. Based on the MTV Movie Brawl 2012 that just took place over on MTV.com, Pattinson's hot Cosmopolis look may not be the only arena in which he outdoes and surpasses his beloved Twilight character on the big screen. It's true. Check it out. In a virtual cage match of sorts between "indie Rob" in Cosmopolis and "Edward Rob" in Breaking Dawn, Part 2, guess who won!?

Okay, so it's Rob, but still! There's more to it than that. And it proves Rob is only getting hotter!

MTV conducted its vote-driven, multi-day tournament where film fans could pick the must-see movie of 2012, and after millions of votes poured in, Cosmopolis not only beat out much-anticipated films The Dark Knight Rises, The Hunger Games, Woman in Black (starring beloved Daniel Radcliffe), and Rob's girlfriend Kristen Stewart's Snow White and the Huntsman, but it also beat out Pattinson's other two upcoming 2012 films Bel Ami and (gasp!) The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2. Unbelievable!

Even Robert Pattinson's Cosmopolis co-star Paul Giamatti was shocked by the win. Watch Giamatti's reaction. It's funny. Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg told MTV he was "shocked and amazed and really tickled" by the vote of confidence for his upcoming film and went on to say:

... if you're a Twilight fan, then you might not be interested in Cosmopolis because Rob is not Mr. Cullen. But if you're a Rob fan, then you've got to be interested in Cosmopolis, because you will see him as you have not seen him before, for sure.

Did you hear that? Like we've never seen him before! Sounds awesome.

Don't worry though, RPattz fans. This doesn't mean the Twi-hard movement is dissipating. Its fans are merely evolving along with its biggest star! Cause let's face it, we're all Rob fans here. While it may not seem possible, our love for Rob is big enough to expand beyond Twilight and on and on.
