Eddie Murphy & Ben Stiller Make ‘Tower Heist’ a Laughfest (VIDEO)

TOWER HEIST BEN STILLER EDDIE MURPHYI'm one of those people that will most likely see every Ben Stiller movie he ever makes until he's old(er) and gray(er). The man is just such a comedic legend. Lucky for me and all other Derek Zoolander fans, Stiller is part of the stellar cast of Tower Heist, which also features Eddie Murphy, Matthew Broderick, and Casey Afflick, and hits theaters today.

Directed by Brett Ratner, Tower Heist follows Stiller, Murphy, and the whole crew as they seek revenge on a Wall Street billionaire who stiffed them out of their retirement funds. Will these classic comedians have what it takes to make Tower Heist a box office smash? See what the critics have to say in their Tower Heist reviews after the jump:

Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News:

Boasts an unusually strong cast of actors, who boost the slick screenplay into a satisfying popcorn picture.

Christy Lemire, Associated Press:

When Murphy's on screen in his classic comic mode, it's hard to focus on anyone or anything else. It's as if we've turned back time and erased all those family-friendly duds and lame laughers that required him to climb into yet another fat suit or talk to even more animals.

Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune:

For what it is — recessionary wish-fulfillment escapism, with a lot of highly skilled familiar faces in its amply qualified cast — it's fun.

Nick Pinkerton, The Village Voice:

Tower Heist deserves credit as a clean, well-turned job, fleet and funny and inconsequential. It gets in and gets out quickly ... and leaves no trace once it’s gone.

I could use a few laughs this weekend, so why not? Take a looksee at the Tower Heist trailer:
