It's Friday! Time for dinner and a movie? Here's a round-up of new movies hitting theaters tonight. Staying in? We've also got your best new DVD pick!

How to Train Your Dragon (DreamWorks)

Definitely worth checking out in 3-D, this animated soon-to-be-classic -- the visuals alones should bring kids and their parents to the theater -- centers on the unlikely friendship between, Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel, who also stars in this month's She's Out of My League), a young pacifist Viking warrior-in-training, and his should-be mortal enemy, a gap-grinned dragon named Toothless.

Hot Tub Time Machine (MGM)

Bromance alert. In this throwback comedy, four 40-something pals (including John Cusack), bored with their mundane adulthood, magically go back to their '80s youth via a -- you got it -- hot tub time machine they find during a reunion at a ski resort. Raucous man-boy-oriented hilarity ensues on this '80s nostalgia trip, complete with underage sex jokes, a hair metal soundtrack and leg warmers.

Chloe (Sony Pictures Classics)

The latest by Atom Egoyan, opening in limited release this weekend, is nothing if not timely, playing on the concept of honey pots. Julianne Moore is worried wife Catherine, who, suspicious that her professor husband (Liam Neeson) is cheating, hires a young prostitute named Chloe (Amanda Seyfried) to seduce her husband so she can catch him red-handed. But when Chloe oversteps the bounds of their business deal, has Catherine's plan backfired?

The Blind Side (Warner Bros.)

The true tale of football star Michael Oher (played by Quinton Aaron), The Blind Side stars Sandra Bullock, in the role that earned her an Oscar, as Leigh-Anne Tuohy, the feisty, Ole Miss-obsessed Southern belle who took him in and eventually adopted him. While occasionally trite in its do-gooder message, the film is definitely a popcorn ready tear jerker worth a Friday evening on the couch.
