I'm having a bouquet toss at my wedding. I figure it's pure, silly, superstituous fun for the single ladies. At least, I've always had fun with it. My now-fiance, not so much! At the weddings we attended as boyfriend and girlfriend, he'd sit there and brace himself during the bouquet toss. Not that he really believed if I caught it, we'd have to be next. (He's the opposite of superstituous.) But I'm sure the mere symbolism was intimidating. Cuz you know, if I had caught it, the pressure would be ON. He'd be the target of remarks galore. For that alone, I don't blame him for being stressed!

And he wasn't alone. Turns out lots of guys LOATHE the bouquet toss. One wedding guest hated it so much that he physically, hilariously intervened in order to prevent his girlfriend from catching the bouquet. Reddit user Alpishy posted a hilarious series of photos depicting the incident and joking that the wedding guest punting the bouquet was likely kicking it away from his girlfriend's hands ...

I'm not sure how or when it happened, but somehow, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's rocky engagement has become one of our national obsessions. Will they, or won't they? Should they? (Probably not.) One week they're on, the next, they're off. Regardless of what's true and what's false, one thing's for sure -- there is most definitely trouble in paradise, and it may be more fatal to these crazy kids' relationship than we know.

After rapper Snoop Lion, who has been collaborating with Miley on her new album, and Billy Ray made remarks about how they doubt the "I do"s will ever take place, new sources are popping up to note that there's not even a question: The wedding is never ever happening. To quote Miley's one-time BFF, Taylor, "Like, ever."

A marriage proposal is one life-changing (or so you hope) moment that calls for words. At least four -- "Will you marry me?" -- are standard. Then again, who says they have to be spoken? That's what groom-to-be Dave must've wondered when he proposed to his boyfriend in an incredibly creative, heartstring-pulling, happy tearjerking albeit utterly silent way.

    Check it out ...

Adele has never been one to flash and flaunt her fame, so it doesn't come as that big a surprise that she's rumored to be getting married to boyfriend/baby daddy Simon Konecki this July in what's being described as a "low-key wedding." And it doesn't sound like Jen Aniston's or Justin Timberlake's version of low-key (which I imagine as A-listers jetting to some remote, exotic location in which everyone stays in their own million-dollar villa). Reports say they'll actually marry in a small town church in Sussex, England, then have a reception featuring homemade food. It's also reportedly going to be '50s-themed. Love!

So, low-key and "themed" doesn't necessarily sound like it goes hand-in-hand, right? But it can!

So we've already talked about how Sean Parker, a gazillionaire who was one of the pioneers of Facebook, was hoping to have a fantasy-themed, Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings-type wedding in June. Even more details are coming out about the insane amount of money and planning that are going into these nuptials, and you just won't believe 'em. And you most likely fall in either one of two camps: Dude's plenty rich, let him do what he wants with his money ... or, holy shit, this is absolutely ridiculous, there are starving children out there!

Whatever you may believe, in order to grant you a few mere minutes of escapism (and who couldn't use that nowadays?), let's pretend as if we were all invited to the wedding that will put every single other wedding to shame. Yes, even yours. Seriously, were there custom-built fake ruins at your wedding? Didn't think so.

Imagine you've been planning your dream wedding and have it all set up -- the champagne, the gown, the family, all taking place in a picturesque park and on a clear, beautiful day right after you've participated in one of your main passions. But then, suddenly, horror strikes. Death. Destruction. Fear. All within walking distance of your dream wedding. What do you do? If you're Kelli Johnston and Robert Watling, you don't let terrorists disrupt your dream day. You go ahead and get married, even as ambulances wail in the background and armed guards watch over you.

So, apparently, back in 2000 when Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt had their fairytale, Hollywood wedding -- which was rumored to cost $1 million and featured a 13 minute-long fireworks display along with 50,000 flowers -- we were all green with envy. But surprise, it supposedly wasn't all it was cracked up to be. And not just because duh, it ended in divorce. Jen's wedding planner, Kevin Lee, reveals to Grazia magazine, "Brad wanted that when she married him, and she got caught up in having a huge day. It was ultimately so stressful that she couldn't really take time to enjoy it."

As a result, he shares that she plans to make her second wedding to Justin Theroux very different ...

Everyone has their reasons for choosing a certain wedding venue. Family history, the couple's history, or just the kind of wedding you want to have can all weigh into the decision. For Iowa couple Steve and Nancy Keller, the couple that "goes together like bacon and eggs," being 30-year food industry vets and Food Network fans lead them to their venue: Denny's! In Vegas. Yup.

The couple won a contest in Food Network Magazine to be the first couple to wed at the much-anticipated chapel. They reportedly traded their vows in front of just 11 VIP friends and family and a restaurant full of bacon-, egg-, and coffee-consuming diners. Then, they toasted with Grand Marnier mimosas -- aka Grand Slamosas -- and ate a pancake wedding cake. Awww!

Okay, okay, so it's not everyone's idea of dream nuptials.

Adam Levine was recently quoted expressing some majorly dismal views about marriage: "If you don't get married, you can't get divorced. Why couldn't we learn from the devastatingly low percentage of successful marriages that our last generation went through?" I can't say I blame the guy, and I'm sure how he feels is how most people born after 1970 feel these days to some extent.

But we keep getting married! We tell ourselves we're the exceptions. We believe we can have the fairy tale, life-long romance. But that doesn't always quash the fears. You'd have to be living under a rock to not have some doubt leading up to your wedding these days. But it's not like we can TALK about it, right?
