No question about it -- Rush Limbaugh is going down in a big way. As of my last count, he'd lost 13 sponsors and two radio stations have dropped his show. And the list keeps growing.

But I'm starting to feel like Rush-hunting is becoming a blood sport. We're getting off on watching the man burn. I have no sympathy for him. He dug his own grave. But we're not exactly elevating ourselves by dancing around that grave. I should know -- I've felt myself swept up in the Rush-burning rush and I didn't like what it did to me.

Even though most of us think of Valentine's Day as nothing more really than a Hallmark holiday, there's still plenty of silly taboo around being alone on the holiday -- especially if you're a newlywed. But that's not the case for Kate Middleton. Prince William has been deployed to the Falkland Islands for a six-week military mission, so the Duchess won't be enjoying the holiday by having a romantic candlelit dinner or chowing down on chocolates with her husband.

Instead, it looks like she's got her work cut out for her. No, really. And it actually sounds like her hubby-free Valentine's Day will be a blessing in disguise ...

Celebrities announce pregnancies every other day and it's always joyous news, except when it happens to someone truly inspirational and deserving like JR Martinez, the former Iraqi vet turned DWTS champion. When impending parenthood happens to people like that you don't simply offer congratulations, you dance on the tables screaming YAYYYY!!! Martinez and his girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones are expecting their first child next spring, and the couple are high as a kite over the news. But judging from all the Tweets and comments going around the web, I think his fans might be even more excited than they couple is ... if that's even possible!

It's so hard for me to commit to one style of Christmas decor because I know the next year, there will be something new that catches my eye. Pippa Middleton's butt is in trouble. Don't worry, not her actual buttocks, but you know figuratively speaking, Pippa's ass is on the line. After word got around that the world's most famous little sister (take that Ashlee, Ali, and Solange) was getting $1.5 million to pen a book about party planning and etiquette, people were kind of pissed off. The Telegraph reports that Pips' been in talks with publishers for a while now and that things are getting serious.

The "Pippa factor" may have sold a few handbags and launched a few fan blogs, but this party planning book may be the one thing that could burst that bubble.

The British tabloid The Daily Mail is reporting that Pippa Middleton's on-again, off-again boyfriend Alex Loudon is shopping for engagement rings and that whatever he gets, he has to be sure it's bigger than Kate Middleton's. If this is true (and I take everything I read there with a grain of salt), then she could use a lesson in sisterly love, stat.

Competition is one thing. It can be good to foster and even encourage in women and girls who are often demure about their abilities. But there is a huge difference between being slightly competitive and being overly obnoxious and wanting a bigger rock just to show up your sister. It crosses that line.

Even beyond Pippa and Kate (who received a gorgeous sapphire ring that belonged to Will's mother, Princess Diana), all women need to recognize that a big diamond isn't all that exciting.
