I once had a conversation with my mom about loud porno sex. I have no idea how this topic was brought up. My mom and I do talk about lots of things, though sex usually isn't on that list. Sometimes, but not down and dirty nitty gritty talk.
She told me how she hated the fake sounding oohs and ahhs commonly found in porn. (OK, I'm realizing how gross this is sounding. My mom is talking about porn and I am sharing it with you. Hi, Mom!)
But I have to agree with her. There is a difference between natural oooh baby love sounds and fake I"'m just doing it to do it" guttural moans.
Being loud in bed doesn't always mean you are having amazing sex. Some fake it.
Being quiet in bed doesn't always mean you aren't having amazing sex. Some of my favorite lovemaking sessions have been nearly silent. Breathy, but quiet.
And with kids in the house, quiet sex is often the only option.
But some do benefit from loud sex. A long time ago I had this conversation with a woman and she said that being very vocal and loud during sex actually helps her orgasm. Which makes sense since deep breathing can help you climax.
I guess it just depends on how loud you deep breathe.

It depends. Sometimes i am loud and sometimes i am quiet, though I may be enjoying it. sometimes it is just better being quite than making too much noise.
We're pretty quiet...don't want to wake the kiddo.
I'm loud can't help always have been. I usually end up grabbing a pillow and biting or get a hand over my mouth if the pillows are knocked off. My ex actually said "I have roomates honey shhhhhh.....lol"
We are quiet - too many years of doing it in the laundry room when the kids were young - LOL. Cafe Michele it is so great that you can have this conversation with your mom. I am a little jealous, my mom would have had a heart attack if I ever told her I had sex, let alone watched a porn (yes, even after giving birth 2 times!). haha
I used to be super loud, it wasn't fake, it was just me... And then I had a kid, now that's stuck on my mind during sex, I start to get loud and I think "Oh crap, I don't want to wake him up..." and I quiet back down. But I can totally relate on the being loud helps me climax. Not necessarily from just the deep breathing aspect but also from the sound... There's something sexy about being vocal during sex, especially hen the guy can be vocal. Is it just me or are most guys just too silent in bed?
Depending on the kind of sex, we can be quiet or loud. Well, we have to be fairly quiet because we live with the in-laws, but they have sleep apnea, and their machines are pretty loud (they have yet to hear us!)
The kids sleep through anything. We used to keep the tv on, or play music - but more to prevent the neighbors from hearing anything. We're a bit of a wild couple, I suppose. : )
We are both silent. No moans ever...just heavy breathing. Noise distracts me.
