Going shopping is just one of those things you either love or hate to do. And it's sort of a known thing that you should only go shopping with your significant other if you both are into it -- otherwise, no one's having a good time even if you score some boots for half off. Clearly, Staten Island, New York, love birds Alyssa and Frank do the whole shopping thing well together. And so Frank hatched a semi-elaborate plan to propose to his sweetie surrounded by flat-screens at their local Best Buy.
Surround sound, baby! Even though a proposal like this would be the second to last choice on my list if anyone ever got on one knee for me (flash mob being the worst way since crowds like that freak me out), I still got a bit teary eyed watching the look of sheer happiness on their faces all aglow from the plasma TVs.
Plus, it's quite a bit more intimate than a flash mob. Frank coordinated with Best Buy to have some video footage of the couple throughout the years synchronized on all the big-screen TVs. Aww! Happy day! Train's "Marry Me" was filling the air with song, and coming from all different points in the store was Frank and Alyssa's friends and family to witness if Alyssa was going to choose Frank with his Best Buy proposal or flee to RadioShack. I bet you can guess what she said ....
She said yes! Congrats to these two! I hope they are happy shoppers forevermore. They will never shop in a Best Buy in the same way again.
How adorable is this proposal?!
