15 Things a Woman Never Wants to Hear Her Man Say

Hot List 23

manNot all surprises are good ones. No one knows that better than a woman in a relationship. I have a friend who met and married the so-called man of her dreams within six months. A year later, he dropped a major bombshell -- he had been married before. Even more shocking: He had been married twice before. For whatever reason, it never previously came up. That was probably just as much her fault as it was his. She clearly didn't ask enough questions. But sometimes, nothing can compare us for the crap that comes out of their mouths. Check out the 15 things a woman never wants to hear her man say.

  1. It was just a kiss.
  2. My mom's gonna stay with us for a few months.
  3. Oh, didn't I tell you I had kids?
  4. I'm on house arrest.
  5. I'm as good as divorced. I mean, we haven't lived together in years.
  6. I think I might be gay.
  7. I've been late because my ex needed my help with something.
  8. I need you to get me a good lawyer.
  9. Can I have a hall pass?
  10. Maybe I'm not cut out for monogamy.
  11. I told my little brother he can live in the basement.
  12. I quit my job.
  13. So I sent a photo of my junk to another girl. It's not like I was having an actual affair.
  14. Surprise, I got you a boob job for your birthday!
  15. What do you think about the open marriage thing?

What other ridiculous surprises do men spring on their wives and girlfriends?

I got introduced to the "woman" he eventually cheated on me with as "the person I would be dating if I wasn't dating you" on our anniversary no less.

I WISH he would say #14 to me!!!!

Well if she were a decent and pretty woman she probably would never hear #6.

I wouldn't care too much if family was moving in, I believe in helping family, there would just need to be ground rules! And if my man got me a boob lift (last thing I need is bigger boobs, 36G) I would cry happy tears. Plus I have friends who dream of boob jobs and would love them for a gift. Some of these are subject to circumstances.

hmm,id think you'd never want to hear things like:your vagina stinks....you're ugly....you're fat...or you're too old but go figure.MOST decent guys would never say any of that crap but i don't see any of that on the list.

mamat... mamatreat

BrainyMommy- your comment is ridiculous. If she's decent and good looking she'll never hear number 6? Because only horrible ugly women ever hear that?

2baby... 2babymomma

I would love to hear #14

What's wrong with an open marriage? If everybody's on board, where's the harm?

Sara Cunningham

Well said, Common.Sense. An open marriage isn't for everybody (and hopefully you would talk about that sort of lifestyle BEFORE committing to marriage) but poly relationships can work well, so long as everyone's on the same page.
