The stereotypical "not tonight, honey, I've got a headache!" excuse for skipping out on a sex really is no joke. My heart really goes out to people who suffer from chronic migraines. Seriously, a bad headache is enough to have me whimpering like a baby, and when I once had what could be considered a really bad migraine, I thought I was going to die. But researchers now say that if we're suffering from migraines, instead of reaching for painkillers, we should be actually ... having sex! That's because a new study published in the journal of the International Headache Society found that more than half of migraine sufferers who had sex during an episode experienced an improvement in symptoms. Probably because it triggers the release of endorphins, which are the body's own painkillers.
