You Won't Believe What Sex Acts Are Still Illegal in Some States

shaded windowLet's talk about sex. Specifically, let's talk about sex in Virginia, which is finally emerging from the dark ages. The southern state is considering lifting a centuries-old law against "lewd and lascivious cohabitation." Basically, it is still illegal for unmarried couples to live together there. Of course, I am sure millions have been breaking this law for decades, but fact of the matter is, it's still technically against the law. Another surprising statute against obscene literary works means they could ban Fifty Shades of Grey! Yikes. Here are more outdated sex laws that are still on the books in this county.

What other weird sex laws have you heard of?

Wooooow. Some of these are strange, others just plain ridiculous. I would for sure be breaking quite a few of these laws. Maybe ill make it my goal to travel to these places & make it a point to break this law. Sexitime roadtrip across america? Sounds like amazing couple time to me. Maybe a honeymoon goal, or one for when the kids are grown. Lol. Totally hot. :)

Obviously these are not enforced or haven't been updated with the changing times but are still funny to read.

There's a law in one of nthe southern states that says anal sex is illegal, and if a cop were to walk by your house and see you engaged in anal sex they could walk in and arrest post parties

I read once that somewhere in MT (I think) it's illegal to have sex on a horse.....  Not on the top of my list of places to try

Lists like this are amusing, but they are also deceptive. 99 percent of the time they are not the laws you are led to believe. They are a general law, that someone tries to get out of. For example suppose a place has a law against having sex in a parked car. Some emt is caught getting busy in and ambulence and arrested. He argues that it does nto cnsitute a car for purposes of the statue. The judge disagrees. Yes, it is illegal to have sex in the ambulance. However, the legislature never passed a law that said "no sex in ambulances." It just falls under the general law.

Similary the fish one is surely just a general law against bestiality a judge found includes fish. The pool hall one is just a general anti-prostitution law, etc.

Okay, I lived in Richmond, Virgnia August 2009-May 2011, and lived with my son's father during most of that. We were unmarried, and cops came to our house a couple times, and never said anything about it being illegal. "Sex laws" my ass. They don't care what you do, as long as it doesn't involve drugs or anything like that, and it's in private.
