'Teen Mom' Catelynn Lowell Is Having a Meltdown About Her Wedding

catelynn lowell in wedding dress Last we heard from Teen Mom Catelynn Lowell, she was feelin' amazing about her pre-wedding weight loss and feeling incredibly excited about her impending walk down the aisle to marry fiance Tyler Baltierra in July. But now it seems like the reality star isn't necessarily as happy a bride-to-be as we thought. At least not at the moment.

She took to Twitter yesterday to vent about the anxiety she's been suffering from, writing, "Seriously feel like I'm going crazy! Think its stemming from my wedding planing [sic]. Been crying 4 days, can't eat, I just don't kno what 2 do. ... I just don't know what to do anymore!!! Feel like its never going to go away." Oh, this poor girl. Do I feel her pain or what!

One thing I've learned over the past 10 months that I've been engaged? Wedding planning is NOT all its cracked up to be. It can be a totally harrowing experience. For some reason, the minute you get a ring on it, anyone remotely connected to you and your fiance could morph into a completely different person to push their own agenda. Claws come out. Fights commence. And yes, tears stream.

And no, it's not a sign that things aren't meant to be or aren't going to ultimately work their way out. I swear, any bride who'll tell you her wedding planning process was 100 percent stress-free, so much fun, so easy, she had a blast ... is LYING through her pearly whites.

As for Catelynn, we know she's been probably putting a lot of pressure on herself to pare a few extra pounds for her Big Day. That can be stressful in itself. So when you add in other details like placecards, invites, whether cousin Mary and brother-in-law Bob are going to be happy with the hotel room block offerings, blah blah blah ... it's enough to make any bride tweet a freaked-out storm.

I've only got two words for the former MTV star: Deep breaths, honey. Deep breaths. And oh yeah, de-stress by hitting the gym. It really helps!

And this is why my husband and I chose the courthouse route. I knew there was no way in heck I could successfully plan a wedding nor be happy with one. So, yes, planning our wedding was 100% stress-free, as we didn't tell anyone but my own mother until after we married. It worked out better that way.

I had a small wedding. It wasn't stressful to plan. I was worried more about the fact that I was about to marry my husband than I was about the "show" of it. Plus how is wedding planning even fun if you just stress about it?

Having a quick wedding is the way to go. My husband and I agreed on a Thursday to get married. Went to the courthouse on Friday to pick up our license application and stuff. On Monday, we got hitched. It was the least stressful thing I've ever done. We didn't worry about guests, food, music, drinks, or even our attire. He was in jeans and a t-shirt, I was in jeans and a tank top. It was well worth it. It was also a whole lot cheaper.

I feel her my wedding is 2 months from today. I have been so stressed i have almost said forget it going to the courthouse. But I went to the courthouse with my first marriage and really don't want to do it this time. My biggest stressor is his phycho mother who wants to take over everything. And how my soon to be turned out to be as good as he is is beyond me. She thinks mardi gras is in march and that my church wedding should be mardi gras themed and she is mad at me bc I didn't make her or his sister bridesmaids. Well for one if I was having bridesmaids I'm not close to her to even consider it and 2 we decided our kids were the only ones standing up with us ( I have 2 girls from my previous and we have a baby boy together). She is just driving me crazy. If its not all about her she makes it about her. Im talking about the woman that was come to find out drinking and poppin pills while i was in labor and i had her kicked out bc she was making a scene and so since then im known as the selfish bitch. Sorry for the venting just needed to get it oua

I had really wanted to just go get married in Vegas, or a destination wedding or anything just to avoid planning the wedding. But my fiancee wanted to have a wedding with all of our friends and family so I agreed to plan it while he went to boot camp....... that was one of the worst, most stressful, and regretted decisions I have ever made- and i didn't even have family making things hard. I can totally feel where Catelynn is coming from.

I had a 120 person wedding! It was amazing and I wouldn't change it for the world. The key is: Try to get the things you want but remember, the goal is to get married. Don't believe the hype a year from your wedding you won't even remember that you didn't have the individually personalized place cards you thought you could pull off. But you will have the memories of celebrating your love with family and friends. Good luck Catelynn and Tyler. My wedding was a blast. I hope yours will be too.
