Sex Confession: I Got Pierced Below the Belt to Spice Up My Sex Life

OMG 13

piercing jewelry"Sex Confessions" is a series featuring your naughtiest bedroom secrets and fantasies. Some will sound familiar, others may give you ideas, some will turn you on, and some are dark and twisted. You might want to sit down for this.

Today's sex confession comes from Paula* who has been married to Dan* for over 10 years. She's a stay-at-home mom to three kids, and has a very active sex life with her husband. She attributes the five times a week sexy time with her man to her labia piercing, which she got almost a year ago when she and her husband were going through what she calls a "funk." There wasn't much nookie going on so she surprised him with a kinky piercing in hopes it would make her much more aware of her naughty bits ... and turn her husband on. It worked. Though she's never told any of her friends about it ... until now.

With three kids and 10 years of marriage, it's kind of hard to spice things up when you've kind of tried everything already and ... well, have three kids running around never giving you any free time to really get creative ... sexually with your husband. I've always liked piercings on women -- nose rings, lip rings -- but never had any except for my ears. I had never even thought about getting any kind of kinky piercing before because I was worried about how it would heal and how bad it would hurt. But you know what hurts worse? A dwindling sex life. So one day I literally woke up and thought, I'm going to pierce my lady parts today!

I wanted to do something exciting. It was. I wanted to do something wild. It was that, too. I wanted to do something that would be kind of a little secret between my husband and me. And it was that, too. I don't go around talking about my labia piercing with friends and it's certainly not dinner conversation with my in-laws. But it's a little piece of steel that turns my husband on and has improved our sex life. It makes me feel sexy. It makes me feel more turned on. And it was surely cheaper than marriage counseling. Not that we needed it, but our sex life was dying. Something had to be done and I'm so glad I did it.

In case you were wondering, it healed super fast. And has presented no problems so far. Worth it? Absolutely!

What do you think of our confessor's confession? Would you ever get pierced down below? If you have, did it also improve your sex life?

Some of my friends did and I have thought about it but I'm terrified of the pain. Then again I was worried about the pain before I got my navel pierced and it didn't hurt at all.

I'm sorry but this is gross. There are way too many opportunities for it to tear out or get infected.

no thanks I think it would get infected to bad

I had a VCH piercing (google it). Easiest piercing I've ever had done. Absolutely no pain and healed super quickly with no infection at all. I eventually took it out because although I thought it looked really pretty, it did nothing to enhance the feeling down there. Never regretted it though.

I have a clit piercing. I've had it for over a year. Not one single instance of tearing, pain durring sex, or infection. They're remarkably easy to keep clean... its called washing your vag lol

I have a hood piercing, did not hurt one bit and I love it. I've had all different types of piercings....if it doesn't float your boat then fine. I love it my hubby loves it end of story :)

I'd be most worried about it being botched and resulting in a decrease in sensation.

Although VCH would be a far better way to go than a labia piercing if you're looking for stimulation.

It basically CAN'T result in decreaed sensation, because it goes through extra skin, and not through the clit. So just don't let someone that appears intoxicated pierce you, and it will be fine

I got my clitoral hood pierced 12 years ago and I've never looked back...healed in 3 days, has never been infected and if anything, it increased my libido and sensitivity...freakin awesome, is what it is...and decorative! husband loves it, BUT...if you ever have to have an MRI suddenly or um, a can get me, I've been there quite a few times and there's nothing more embarrassing than having to tell your middle-aged conservative man doctor, "um, I do have this little piercing, um...down there.." while pointing to your crotch...their faces everytime? Priceless.....

@the4mutts:  although I understand what you're saying... if it is botched, then by definition it isn't placed correctly and absolutely could cause damage and a decrease in sensation.  And the fact remains that many women go to "reputable" piercers and still end up with botched genital piercings.
