Be honest, aren't you getting just a little bit sick and tired of hearing about how awful Kristen Stewart is for cheating on Robert Pattinson with married director Rupert Sanders? Because even though I'm a member of the guilty party who labeled her a "dirty cheater" the minute the scandal broke, I find myself backpedaling a bit now that the dust has settled.
Yes, she cheated. And yes, Rupert Sanders was married. But guess what? Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson weren't hitched -- and even though I'm not excusing what she did, she really seems to be taking a lot more heat than she deserves for what went down. And all of the criticism directed towards her seems to be more than a little bit unfair, especially since so many men have cheated in Hollywood who weren't subjected to this kind of backlash.
Yes, I'm talking about Brad Pitt. Um -- hello? Doesn't anyone remember him cheating on Jennifer Aniston with Angelina Jolie while he was still married to her? They were just as serious, if not more committed, than Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and he certainly didn't hesitate to get all chummy with Angelina when the opportunity arose. And even though he's a scumbag and Angie helped break up his marriage, the two of them are hailed as humanitarians. (Gag me.)
(I'm sorry, but does anyone else see a huge double standard here?)
And aside from the Brad and Angie example, there are those rumors about Robert Pattinson cheating on Kristen Stewart long before she strayed from the relationship -- with Lindsay Lohan of all people! How come no one really made a big deal out of his cheating rumors, but are so willing to jump all over Kristen and label her a "trampire"?
If people are going to be publicly scolded and humiliated for cheating, then they should at least receive the same attacks across the board. Kristen may have made a big mistake, but plenty of other people have too. She deserves a break, and also a second chance from her fans -- even if they're unhappy and hurt by the end of her romance with Rob.
And there's always a chance that they could get back together, which you can hear more about in this video clip. (I'm sure if they do work things out, everyone will magically love her overnight again.)

there is a huge double standard. women who cheat are labled tramps and whores, while the men are congratulated or left alone. as far as Rob and Kristen, if he chooses to give her another chance, that's up to him. it's his choice.
alot of fans do not see the difference between Twighlight characters and the real people. They think Rob and Kristen are married because Bella and Edward are married. No one can see the forest between the trees and your articles bashing on her were not fair. You jumped on the band wagon with everyone trashing her. She is 22 and very young. Rupert should have been the one to take most of the heat since he is much older and knows better. When your young and 22 and very inexperienced with men you can be lead astray very easily. The bashing on Kristen has been going on for atleast a month and needs to stop. Write an article on something that actually matters
But when you call her a victim that is just annoying. Her and that Robert guy were not married so that is not a big deal. I don't think anyone but Sanders' kids are victims.
Its up to Rob to give her another chance it isnt other peoples buisness to make decisions for the people...They love each other andcant be without each other He does need to take her back bc all she did was kiss him thats it nothing else happened and plus i think it is all a publicity stunt so people can back off of them....Im tired of all this He said She said bull**** there is no reason for it!!!! Just leave the two of them alone already, she made a mistake, and he was hurt, unfortunately life isnt fair, if it is true love they will find a way back to each other. The greatest thing is Love. Its none of our business, its between the two of them and no one else. Not just the fans should butt out, but also their friends, let the two of them figue out what they want.
This whole thing smells of publicity stunt....whatever it is I hope they can work it out...they have great chemistry together in film and would be a shame for them not to work it out even if just for future film possibilities.
