Ever heard that you should speak up about what you want in the bedroom? Only a thousand times, right? It's easier said than done, but thankfully, Dr. Logan Levkoff has some tips. On this short episode of Mom-Ed: In the Bedroom, Doc talks with a male sex expert (sexpert?) about strategies for approaching the mildly uncomfortable topic of telling your spouse what does and doesn't work for you. And no, she makes no reference to Fifty Shades of Grey, so you can stop rolling your eyes now.
Doc's tips are pretty solid -- as long as you communicate your needs from a place of love and not, like, evil criticism, you're doing it right.
Now, she doesn't recommend this, but I hear a psychological sandwich is never a bad idea when you're delivering a critique. As in, I love the color of whip you chose! I'd like it if you spanked me harder, though. But really you're doing a great job overall.
Good news, bad news, good news. Sexy psychological sandwich for the win.
